Essence is a progression-focused farming currency in Mirage, designed to reward active play and long-term investment into farming tools.

Essence is earned exclusively through sugarcane harvesting using a Harvester Hoe and is primarily spent on tool upgrades and shop rewards.

🌾 Earning Essence

Essence is obtained by breaking sugarcane with a Harvester Hoe.

  • Only Mirage Harvester Hoes can generate Essence
  • Sugarcane broken without the tool will not drop Essence
  • Drop amounts scale with tool progression

This ensures Essence remains balanced, non-exploitable, and tied directly to gameplay effort.

🛠 Harvester Hoe Integration

The Harvester Hoe is the core source of Essence.

How It Works

  • Each sugarcane break has a chance to award Essence
  • Essence gains increase as the tool is upgraded
  • Custom enchants can further improve yield

The Harvester Hoe is designed to support: - Linear or exponential progression

Essence is the primary currency used to upgrade Harvester Hoes.

Upgrades are purchased through the Harvester Hoe Upgrade Menu, allowing players to: - Increase Essence drop rates

- Progress their tool over time

All upgrades are: - Purchased in-game

🛒 Essence Shop

The Essence Shop allows players to spend Essence on server-defined items and rewards.
